EXCELLENCE IN ETIQUETTE
Executive Volunteers and participants enjoy a seated meal together, and test their knowledge of the rules of personal and professional etiquette in a “Jeopardy” style game.
BUSINESS PLAN WORKSHOP
Executive Volunteers meet 1 on 1 with multiple participants to discuss in detail all the elements of their business plans.
PITCH DAY

BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION*

Executive Volunteers serve on panels to hear and evaluate participants’ final 10-12 minute pitches, with prelims in the morning and semi-finals in the afternoon.
Day Two:
Executive Volunteers serve en banc to hear and evaluate the 4 finalists’ 10-12 minute pitches, then enjoy lunch as a group.
GRADUATION
The most moving and amazing graduation you will ever experience. We spend 6 months locating and connecting with family members, helping them to appreciate the significance of their man’s achievement and encouraging them to attend. Come and help many family members and friends cheer for our aspiring entrepreneurs.
MOCK INTERVIEWS
This event gives the participants the opportunity to tell their story to someone that they do not know, and also allows them to prepare to seek employment once they are released. They interview for jobs that are similar to those that other PEP graduates have secured upon release, and the practice allows them to build their self-confidence.
