WHO WE ARE

We were murderers. We were gang leaders. We were drug dealers. We are executives. We are MBAs. We are pastors. We are professionals.

We are transformed.

We are PEP.
An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.

- Martin Luther King, Jr.
What if you were known for the worst thing you’ve ever done? Would you want a chance to redefine yourself—a fresh start?

Established in 2004, the Prison Entrepreneurship Program (PEP) is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We’re pioneers of innovative programs that connect the nation’s top executives, MBA students and politicians with convicted felons. Our entrepreneurship boot camp and re-entry programs are proven solutions for reformed inmates who thrive on challenge and accountability.

We’re on a mission to stimulate positive life transformation for executives and inmates, uniting them through entrepreneurial passion, education and mentoring.

Our success hinges on the execution of this mission and on the application of our core values.
