PEP relies entirely on the generosity of individual donors, foundation, churches, and corporate sponsors. PEP receives no state or federal government funding for its program. We know that those who choose to invest their dollars with PEP are committed to seeing the life change and transformation that is evident in the lives of the men we serve. We thank all those who have supported us in the past and will support us in the future. There are several ways to give to PEP, and we welcome your support for our mission.
We strongly encourage you to give to PEP at whatever time during the year works for your budget and cash flow, and many of our investors like to give at different times. Checks can be made to PEP, and sent to:
Prison Entrepreneurship Program
P.O. Box 926274
Houston, TX 77292-6274
We can accept credit card donations through the website, and you can click on the DONATE NOW button to be taken to an online donation form.
Shares of stock can also be donated to PEP, and please contact Tim Hamilton, our CFO, at email@example.com to make specific arrangements for a transfer.
If you have a National Christian Foundation giving fund, you can also arrange a transfer directly through the Prison Entrepreneurship Program Charity Page on their website (www.houston.nationalchristian.com).
If you are interested in Planned Giving and remembering the men of PEP in your estate planning, please contact Tony Mayer, our Chief Development Officer, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please consider joining those who make a regular monthly contribution to PEP. Our PEP Partners are critical to the success of our organization, and about 10% of our monthly budget is currently supported by our monthly donors. 25% of this group are PEP graduates, and we are proud of the change and transformation that sees felons turned into philanthropists.
You can also set a regular recurring donation through the website.
We welcome donations of business attire, work clothes, and shoes for the men we serve, and can accept these donations at either our Houston or Dallas offices. We also can accept donations of gift cards, food cards, and gas cards for our men. Other items such as cars for our graduates and appliances for our transition houses can also be accepted. When our men are ready to move out of our transitional houses, they also need gently used furniture and household items.
Each year, various churches sponsor our Children’s Christmas Project, and while the church members will provide the gifts, we need others to provide wrapping paper and postage for shipping the gifts to children that do not live in the greater Dallas, Ft. Worth, or Houston area.
