This is the intensive that serves as the core of PEP’s in-prison initiatives. Graduates of this program will earn a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business.
Executive Volunteers meet 1 on 1 with multiple participants to listen to and give feedback on their business concepts.
Executive Volunteers are grouped in panels of ~ 6 “sharks” to hear and give feedback on participants’ elevator pitches, then meet 1 on 1 for a deeper dive.
This event gives the participants the opportunity to tell their story to someone that they do not know, and also allows them to prepare to seek employment once they are released. Their practice interviews will help them to build their self-confidence.
Executive Volunteers serve on panels to hear and evaluate participants’ final 10-12 minute pitches through a semi-final and final round. This will be immediately followed by a moving and amazing graduation. Come and help many family members and friends cheer for our aspiring entrepreneurs.
