PEP End of the Year Match Grant 2020

The Prison Entrepreneurship Program Governing Board has generously offered to match ALL donations that come through December 31 DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR (Up to $125,000). Our program graduates also stepped up pooling together $20,000 in matching funds to help us reach our year-end goals and support the men entering PEP after them!

That means your gift will have DOUBLE THE IMPACT and help PEP to continue to Transform Lives, Restore Families and Rebuild Communities.

2020 – By the Numbers

During COVID, we did not sit back and wait. We worked double-time. We innovated. We drove growth!

  • 1,800 inmates from across TX applied to PEP
  • 692 men started our Leadership Academy “Correspondence” Course
  • 306 men graduated from PEP
  • 297 participants leaned on PEP for Re-entry assistance
  • 149 participants were released into our transitional housing
  • 100% employment with a $12.84 average starting wage during COVID
  • 99 men graduated eSchool and reached Alumni status during COVID

2021 – Twice The Impact

When we reopen, invite people who will help us make a real difference and share the PEP story with your network!

  • Encourage as many new people as you know to come to prison just once
  • Make sure you follow PEP on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter
  • Get involved on the outside. Contact us to find out more about outside volunteer opportunities
